Treasury Management

Karpatkey DAO was formed when Gnosis transitioned from a traditional for-profit organization to GnosisDAO, addressing treasury management challenges that arose. GnosisDAO implemented tools developed by the Safe and Zodiac protocols and sought to integrate traditional finance (TradFi) best practices for managing decentralized assets. A team from Gnosis and Karpatkey, incubated by Gnosis, took on treasury management responsibilities. In December 2021, GIP-20 appointed Karpatkey DAO as the official GnosisDAO treasury manager, a role expanded by GIP-58. Karpatkey focuses on optimizing and preserving capital through advanced risk management and DeFi strategies, supporting the financial stability and growth of the Gnosis ecosystem.
